Thanks to the generosity of Canadians of Dutch extraction, the National Arts Centre possesses a handsome 21-stop,
tracker action concert organ and a small positive instrument, both built by Flentrop Orgelbouw of Zaandam.
These organs were given by the Dutch-Canadian community as a national gift to Canada in recognition of the part played by Canadian troops in the liberation of the Netherlands in 1945. |
C'est grâce à la générosité des Canadiens d'origine néerlandaise que le Centre national des arts possède un grand-orgue à
traction méchanique de 21 jeux et un petit orgue positif, fabriqués par la société de facteurs d'orgues Flentrop Orgelbouw de Zaandam, Hollande.
Ces orgues ont été données au peuple canadien par la communauté néerlandaise-canadienne en remerciement poir le rôle qu'ont joué les troupes canadiennes dan las libération des Pays-Bas en 1945. |
